Saturday Sparks — Egg Dying Ideas

Saturday Sparks — Egg Dying Ideas

With Easter just a over a week away, I thought a bit of egg dying inspiration was in order for the day. I’m sure you’ve seen some of these ideas before, but I’ve compiled several techniques all in one spot so that you can pick and choose what might work best for you (and the little ones). That being said, if you have a creative way with Easter eggs I welcome you to share.

Saturday Sparks — Bygone St. Patrick’s Greetings

Saturday Sparks — Bygone St. Patrick’s Greetings

Today’s inspiration is a collection of St. Patrick’s Day greetings from bygone days. Most are old style postcards made for hand-written greetings and goodwill wishes, but they could also be used as decoration or crafting. If you plan to print any of the following images, please view its source and check the copyright.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Saturday Sparks — Beating the Winter Blues

Saturday Sparks — Beating the Winter Blues

Yea, I’ve got ‘em — those mid-winter blues, but it’s only early January and I don’t think Jack Frost will be taking a break anytime soon. So instead of wishing for warm sandy beaches and wearing flip flops with newly painted toes, I’ve decided to try to embrace the wonderful things winter has to offer; because don’t you know that come July 4 I’ll be cursing the sun and searching for shade. So here’s to the cold, the snow and the fun that only comes once a year (at least in the Midwest).
