    Five Tips for Displaying Faux Flowers

    So I have this confession. . . I'm a bit of a fake flower snob. As a general rule, I just don't like to display artificial blooms in my home, especially in tight quarters. That being said, I have made a few exceptions here and there because I have managed to locate some silk bushes that really do mimic real life. Here are a couple of my current favorite florals and a few tips for displaying faux flowers in your own home.

My husband and I have never cared for the color, but it was freshly painted before we purchased it and frankly we just didn't think a color change was top priority.

    Laying Eggs at The Three-Acre Wood

    Last week was an exciting one in the chicken coop at the Three-Acre Wood. Our spring chickens (it had to be said) started laying some tiny little eggs, and our Ameraucana hens even got in on the action with their lovely eggs of pale blue.
