    Snow Day Sketch Challenge

    At the last-minute (and probably because my craft room is considerably cleaner than it was this morning) I decided to play along with this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge, but I also promised to take my son to the movies on this cold snow day, so I’m going to keep this brief. I used Echo Park’s Tis the Season collection kit to create this simple but cute card and added the wooden star and some twine to finish off the look.     New Card Challenge Creation, Times Three

    I recently stumbled upon a new blog based out of Australia called Scrap the Boys, and this month I decided to play along with their latest card challenge.     Color Throwdown Challenge Made Simple

    Okay, so I got a little crafty yesterday, but after coming off a multi-day headache I felt the need to catch up on absolutely everything. And although this was card number two for the day, it only took about five total minutes to complete so I was able to knock it out for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge and move on to the next item at hand. Sure, this card was simple to assemble, but I still think it packs quite a punch.
