I seriously cannot believe that February begins next week! I have no idea where January went, but I do know that Spring is almost one month closer to bursting out all over the place. . . and this is definitely a good thing. Color Throwdown Challenge Made Simple
Okay, so I got a little crafty yesterday, but after coming off a multi-day headache I felt the need to catch up on absolutely everything. And although this was card number two for the day, it only took about five total minutes to complete so I was able to knock it out for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge and move on to the next item at hand. Sure, this card was simple to assemble, but I still think it packs quite a punch. A Bouncy Baby Scrapbook Sketch
I carved out a little time this week to work on another way-past-due scrapbook layout, and thanks to this month’s Stuck?! scrapbook sketch, I was able to translate a vision into reality. I knew I wanted to add some “bounce” to a spread because I had some adorable photos of our then four-month-old son in his favorite little bouncy chair, but I just needed a bit of inspiration. Unfortunately, the Stuck?! sketch was only a single page design and I needed two pages to pull off my layout, so I mimicked the feel of the original sketch and created a cohesive spread using like paper and elements and a fun bouncy…
