Tear-Free Gingerbread Building

Even with a kit in hand, many of you can attest that building a gingerbread house can be a frustrating and tear evoking task, especially when the kids are eagerly waiting to adorn it with editable windows and sugar-covered roofs. Through the years (and trial and error) I came up with a tear-free solution to building our beautiful brown baked houses, and it all comes down to planning.

Advent “Wreath” in a Box

One of my favorite observances this time of year is the Advent wreath and the weekly candle lighting that leads up to Christmas. This year I decided to incorporate this idea into our home and created an Advent “wreath” in a box.

Vintage Country and Shrinky Dinks Card Design

I hope everyone enjoyed the Fourth of July weekend and that you were able to safely celebrate with friends and family. Last Minute Easter Cards Made Easy

Since most 0f my days look like the one before and the next to come, I have had a very difficult time keeping track of the date or even the day of the week. So when I realized midweek that I really wasn't going to be spending Easter with my family, or anyone else for that matter, I decided it was a great opportunity to create some Easter cards to spread a little cheer.
