    “Hello Sunshine” Card Challenge Creation

    Good morning, Saturday! It’s a dark, rainy good sleep-in morning here in KC, but I woke before the rest of the house and finished up a couple of cute little items for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches card challenge using some new beach-themed paper called “Seaglass” by Craft Smith. I think this is the perfect card to brighten anyone’s day. To create the cards, I used a blue wood-look paper for the base and cut premade sentiments.     Firefly Dreams

    I couldn’t help but take a few moments to create a card for the current Freshly Made Sketches challenge. It seemed so simple. . . until I picked my shape. Of course it all took on a life of its own, but I conquered it in the end. I used my mason jar die for the shape and showcased it on a background of Simple Stories Summer Fresh papers. I highlighted the lid with a grey marker and added brown twine to give it some punch.
