One little project that adds a bit of warmth to my outings, is a cute set of homemade hand warmers. I simply plop them in the microwave for a minute or so, drop them in my coat pockets and soak up the heat on cold, blustery days. Their warmth doesn't last as long as commercial hand warmers, but you also don't have to shake them until your fingers go numb. Plus, they are all-natural, reusable and super stinkin' cute!

Dash of Spring on a Gray Fall Day
I need to get my card-making mojo back because this simple sketch took four tries to produce something that cut the mustard. Sometimes that happens when I have fewer constraints. Somehow it’s harder to focus on one idea when the sky is the limit. Still, I managed to create a cute little spring inspired card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketch challenge, which helped ward off today’s gray sky blues. I used Simple Stories’ Vintage Bliss 6×6 paper stack for this card and flipped the sketch on its side. Whipping Up Country Cuteness from Mom’s Garage
My mom has finally embarked on a big home remodel that called for a complete gut job of her kitchen, dining room and living spaces. I know she is super excited about the final product, but the process will undoubtedly grow tiresome before it’s finished. In preparation for this project, I helped jumpstart her garage cleanout, so that she could move everything that was staying into her garage for storage.
