I hope all you mamas out there had a wonderful Mother’s Day! I celebrated all weekend and across two states, spending time with my own Mom and family in Oklahoma and celebrating the day with my son and husband back in Missouri. It was a lot of driving, but I truly had a couple of great days. The Mother/Daughter Banquet at Verdigris FBC was a lot of fun. The decorations were adorable, the food was good and the giveaways were awesome! I came home with the new “Magnolia Table” cookbook. Well I might be the last to wish all of you a Happy Mother’s Day, so here’s to all you ladies everywhere who sing lullabies, wipe tears, wipe bottoms, deal with teenage heartbreak, pay for college or marry off children this year. May you all be strengthened, empowered, joyful and blessed in the coming days. . . and, of course, I hope your family treated you right today.
