Tear-Free Gingerbread Building

Even with a kit in hand, many of you can attest that building a gingerbread house can be a frustrating and tear evoking task, especially when the kids are eagerly waiting to adorn it with editable windows and sugar-covered roofs. Through the years (and trial and error) I came up with a tear-free solution to building our beautiful brown baked houses, and it all comes down to planning.

Advent “Wreath” in a Box

One of my favorite observances this time of year is the Advent wreath and the weekly candle lighting that leads up to Christmas. This year I decided to incorporate this idea into our home and created an Advent “wreath” in a box.

    Spooky Life Given to Christmas Countdown Calendar

    Halloween is definitely one of my favorite holidays of the year, running a close third behind Christmas and Easter. I love to decorate, get spooky and celebrate with tricks and treats!     My First Color Throwdown Challenge — Yellow, Green & Aqua

    Here’s a super simple little card I whipped up this morning for the newest Color Throwdown Challenge. This is a first for me, but one of the awesome paper crafters I follow is a guest designer this month so I thought I would give this challenge a go.
