    Another Sketch Challenge Christmas Card

    After last week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge, I decided to create an entire collection of Christmas cards using the rest of my “Tis the Season” kit by Echo Park. So when the new sketch came out this week at Freshly Made Sketches, of course I had to play along. All the papers used on this creation are from the EP “Tis the Season” collection, including the premade graphic card. I interpreted one of the boxes from the sketch into a banner shape and slightly popped up the front card.     Snow Day Sketch Challenge

    At the last-minute (and probably because my craft room is considerably cleaner than it was this morning) I decided to play along with this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge, but I also promised to take my son to the movies on this cold snow day, so I’m going to keep this brief. I used Echo Park’s Tis the Season collection kit to create this simple but cute card and added the wooden star and some twine to finish off the look.     A “First Class” Christmas Card

    Oh my goodness, with all the holly and jolly of the season I completely forgot to share a bit of good news with you. I found out last week that my Christmas card submitted to the Cards in Envy Put Some Extra Layers On challenge in November won the First Class award for that week. That’s the top award for the challenge and my first from Cards in Envy. I’m so super excited about the win because I love this new paper and I was very happy with the finished product.
