Simple Sentiment for a Simple Sketch

owh220

Today’s Operation Write Home sketch challenge is a simple one, but one that can lead to all sorts of ideas. For my card, I simply let the kraft paper show through between the four different papers set at an angle. The papers are all from Amy Tangerine’s Ready Set Go collection by American Crafts and the little orange brad is from Creative Imaginations’ Narratives set. I wanted to keep everything clean and simple on the card, so I didn’t ink any of the edges and I stamped a simple sentiment that can be used for many different occasions.

Thanks, Cora Jean. I’m not sure it’s brilliant (but thank you for that), but it sure was easy! Thanks for stopping by for a look.

Beautiful card. I love the papers and what a great way to finish off your card by letting the kraft paper show through. Wish I have thought of that. I may make a few more of these and do it your way. Thanks for the inspiration here. Enjoy your week ahead.

Thanks, Donna. I have to say this was a pretty easy way to finish the card. I was thinking I might also do a few more cards based on this sketch, just because this was so easy.
